Certified — Not Improvised

Anyone can fill in a form. Very few people in Arizona are authorized to prepare legal documents on your behalf.

Certified by the Arizona Supreme Court

“Legal document preparer” is a regulated designation in Arizona — certified by the Supreme Court and held to a published standard of conduct. We have held it for over 15 years.

We Are Not “Notarios”

In Mexico a notario público is a highly trained attorney. In the United States a notary public is not, and cannot legally advise you on immigration. If someone here advertises as a “notario,” be careful.

We Tell You When to See an Attorney

When a matter needs legal strategy rather than paperwork, we say so and send you on. Turning away work that isn’t right for us is part of doing this job properly.

What this means for you: we prepare documents at your direction and explain what every page says — in English or Spanish. We do not give legal advice, and we will never pretend otherwise to keep your business.

Before you come in

What It Costs, and What to Bring

Two questions almost everyone wants answered before they pick up the phone. Here they are, without the runaround.

How our fees work

Our preparation fee, quoted before we startpaid to us
Government filing fees — USCIS, the court, the recorderpaid to them
Apostille, certified copies, postagepaid to them

We quote a flat fee for your specific documents before any work begins, and we show you plainly which costs are ours and which go to the government. You will not get a surprise invoice partway through, and we do not charge for the conversation that tells you whether we can help.

What to bring

  • Photo identification for everyone named in the documents
  • Any notice, receipt, or letter you have already received
  • Your case, receipt, or A-number if one has been assigned
  • Certificates the matter depends on — birth, marriage, divorce
  • Addresses and dates you will need to state accurately
  • For property matters, the deed or parcel number

Do not wait until you have everything. Come with what you have — we will tell you exactly what is still missing and give you a written list.

Straight answers

Questions People Actually Ask

Including the ones where the honest answer is that we cannot help.

Are you attorneys?

No. We are legal document preparers certified by the Arizona Supreme Court. We prepare documents at your direction and give general legal information.

We do not give legal advice and we cannot represent you in court or before USCIS. When a matter genuinely needs an attorney, we say so and send you on — that is part of doing this job properly.

Are you “notarios”?

No — and the difference matters. In Mexico a notario público is a highly trained attorney. In the United States a notary public has no such authority and cannot legally advise you on immigration.

We are certified legal document preparers, a distinct category regulated and certified by the Arizona Supreme Court. If someone here advertises immigration help as a “notario,” be careful.

How much does it cost?

We quote a flat fee for your specific documents before any work begins, so there are no surprises partway through.

Our fee is separate from government filing fees, which you pay directly to USCIS, the court, or the recorder. We do not charge for the conversation that tells you whether we can help. Call (928) 514-1181 for a quote.

Do you speak Spanish?

Sí, completamente. Every part of this process is available in Spanish or English — in person, by phone, on WhatsApp, and in writing. Ver este sitio en español.

Do I need an appointment?

An appointment means we can set aside the time your matter actually needs. But you can start the conversation by phone or on WhatsApp before you drive anywhere — often we can tell you what to bring in a couple of messages.
